Amy L. Perez completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Central Florida, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science Pre-Law. She went on to attend Barry University School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor.

During her time at Barry, Ms. Perez participated in the Children and Families Clinic where she represented youth in the dependency system. Upon completion of her J.D., she was admitted to the Florida Bar.
