Brad S. Higginbotham completed his undergraduate studies at University of South Florida at Tampa, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He went on to Nova Southeastern University, where he pursued his Juris Doctor. During his time in law school, Mr. Higginbotham served as a Moot Court National Team Member, an Honor Court Prosecutor and Chief Prosecutor and served as a member of the Travel Law Journal. During this time, he also worked for the Dade County Public Defender’s Office and the Broward County Public Defender’s Office. Upon completing his J.D., Mr. Higginbotham was admitted to The Florida Bar.

Prior to joining KEL, Mr. Higginbotham worked as the Assistant State Attorney for the Ninth Judicial Circuit for Orange and Osceola Counties. There, he gained invaluable experience handling hundreds of felonies and misdemeanors, including DUI, drug possession, battery, domestic violence, robbery, burglary, grand theft and more. As the owner and president of his own firm, Mr. Higginbotham also handled cases in various areas of law, including criminal and family law.

Brad Higginbotham is an Associate Attorney at KEL where he assists clients on forming strategies for their various legal issues.
