Colby Burt
Associate Attorney
Colby A. Burt attended the Florida State University, majoring in Sport Management. Before pursuing law school, Mr. Burt worked within the sports business industry. He then went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University. During law school, Mr. Burt was a member of several organizations, including the American Association for Justice, Sports and Entertainment Law Society, and was an on-air host for WLAW: Nova Law School Radio.
Upon receiving his law degree, Mr. Burt was admitted to the Florida Bar and began practicing at his family’s law firm in Daytona Beach, Florida. During his tenure with the firm, he practiced civil litigation with a focus on construction law.
Colby Burt is an Associate Attorney at KEL and concentrates his practice on mortgage foreclosure defense matters.
