Craig R. Lynd was born in Mobridge, South Dakota and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Central Florida. He then went on to attend Stetson University College of Law and earned his Juris Doctor. He was admitted to the The Florida Bar that very same year.Mr. Lynd started his legal career by working at the Office of the Public Defender where he was quickly promoted to the felony division. After gaining valuable experience working for the State, he left to start his own criminal defense law firm. His practice garnered much acclaim and became one of Florida’s leading defense firms with over a dozen offices throughout the state. At his law firm, Mr. Lynd supervised 15 defense attorneys that worked on cases ranging from simple misdemeanors to complex white collar offenses.Following the success of his firm, Mr. Lynd and his partners began a title agency which quickly grew to become one of the largest agencies in the state. He served as general counsel for his agency as well as a local construction company and a real estate firm. His enhanced knowledge of the real estate industry was put to use when he accepted the position of General Counsel for a Florida underwriting company. This organization’s focus was insuring owners and lenders interests in real property.Like Mr. Kaufman and Mr. Englett, Mr. Lynd realized that people in the state of Florida needed reliable and affordable legal services. With this principal in mind, he became a founding member of Kaufman, Englett & Lynd, PLLC. Now, Mr. Lynd utilizes his immense real estate knowledge to help homeowners who are facing foreclosure and large banks. He also trains other attorneys at the firm in foreclosure defense methods and strategies.
