Erik Washington
Associate Attorney
Erik J. Washington completed his undergraduate studies at Florida A&M University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. Mr. Washington went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Florida A&M University College of Law.
While in law school, he served as a staff editor for the FAMU Law Review. He also participated in Moot Court and served on the board of the Moot Court Competition Board. Upon receiving his J.D., Mr. Washington was admitted to The Florida Bar and the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida.
Before joining KEL, Mr. Washington started his legal career by working with an Orlando law firm where his practice concentrated on family law, bankruptcy, defending homeowners against foreclosure, helping clients with estate planning and probate matters, and advising homeowner’s association boards on proper administration.
Erik Washington is an Associate Bankruptcy Attorney with KEL. At the firm, he focuses on consumer bankruptcy and provides direction, counsel, and advocacy to clients struggling with their finances to ensure they can resolve their debt, regain financial freedom.
